Let's flashback to February 15th, 2019 for a minute. Ashley wanted to surprise me with an amazing day trip to Philadelphia. It's only about an hour and a half away, but it's always great to get to "the city." Once we got there, we did a bunch of cute love stuff. She surprised me with a lock to put on a love lock wall overlooking the water to New Jersey. She then planned to take me downtown to the art museum (with a couple other stops along the way). There was lots of walking and Pokemon Go-ing, but one of my favorite stops was one that was completely unplanned.
So everyone knows I like Norse stuff and that I have been working on this Norse-based all ages comic for a little over a year now. We came across the Franklin Institute's (it's basically a museum for those who haven't been there) Vikings exhibition while we were walking to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I couldn't say no, and Ashley said yes, so we went for it. I loved every second of it. I took a bunch of pictures (featured below) that I'll be using for reference. I did also take pictures of the plaques so I would remember what everything is, but I figured it's better to just show the pictures of actual stuff on this post.
Hope you all enjoy!
